lol at myself

mk i'm not giving myself posting guidelines on here, or else i'll never post hahahaaa. but anyways, CHOCOLATE LOTION...is freaking amazing. Idk why chocolate lotion is so unusual, because it smells so good. I guess not everyone wants to smell like desert? haha, but anyways....the other day i got some from ulta and it's awesome :] it's called a shower smootie and it's chocolate milkshake scented :D
Also, i'm really getting excited about winter coming on. boots boots boots colored tights and socks :D

today, me and mom went shopping! :)))
at forever 21 at cumberland mall, and it was amazing :) i got two unusual little jackets, 2 really unusual shirts and 1 really cute panda tank top, and two skirts :) and we went to sears and i got three pairs of stockings for under $4! and all the stuff at forever 21 was under $200...and that's a good deal considering that all the stuff I bought is actually made really well :)) one of my skirts is pleather lol, and one of my jackets is furry haha xD leather skirts and faux fur stuff has been in the magazines a lot lately...and i've really been wanting some stuff like that.

* haha i just realized i put together a faux fur jacket and a pleather skirt, with an 'extinction sucks' top lol xD...well it shows i'm a fan of not killing animals at least haha :) faux is the only fur i'll ever wear!

*this shirt is hard to see in the picture...but it's sheer like a scarf, so i hvae to wear a little bandeau top or tank top under it...when it's on it's so pretty and flows around like a scarf :)

* i already had the boots, purse, and sparkly top underneath

Alexander McQueen was a genius

Alexander was born in London in 1969, and started making dresses at a young age for his sisters. He actually didn't start his own label until after working with Givenchy for five years. This gives me more hope :) I get so anxious sometimes about becoming a desinger...worrying that i'm going to run out of time....when in reality I am SO young. Most big designers don't just pop out of no where....they work, work, work and WORK their way to the top. By working with fashion houses, working as aprentices, etc. I'm going to work hard too.

Ok, I know I haven't been blogging very much on here...and that's because I just haven't been able to think of any topics....although the topics have been right in front of me! starting this week...i'm going to make sure to post a blog on here at least twice a week. It's time for me to break in to this world of fashion....and i need to start working on it bit by bit, and working a little harder than I am already....so here goes!

thigh high boots!? yes please!!!

this fall, it is my mission to find and buy some thigh high, high heal, leg hugging, black suede boots. they will be a staple for my wardrobe this fall. i love these type of boots because the suede looks classy (shiny leather can look cheap hooker sometimes in my optinion), and they're kind of like over the knee or thigh high socks. they allow more options for mini skirts...and the black + heal + high up on the leg slims your legs and makes them look amazing. i'm so excited for fall shopping! also, i will be on a mission for the perfect shade of lilac lipstick. i really do hate that brown hue that they try and put in lipsticks to make them less daring. if people were'nt so afraid to be daring then i bet we would have so many more fun options for clothes, makeup, shoes, and everything. i have mad respect for lady gaga :]

even though i'm excited for fall, i am still excited for summer clothes because i'm getting ready to go to the beach!!! :) when i think of beach clothes i think of flowy smocked sun dresses, crop tops, shorts, sunglasses (duh), big tote bags and anything nautical-esque...here is a set i made that was inspired by my upcoming beach trip :)

It has begun :) even though designing on this website is limited...like i can't design the cut of the shirts or the shoes etc, i can only decorate them. Also, you can't fit pictures to go on the whole t-shirt...but....it's a GREAT start!!! :)))))) I'm very excited :D This first set of designs incorporates one of my drawings that i have made with vine charcoal :) my. own. design. AHHH!

blue lipstick? WHATTT??

It's crazy, it's daring, it's out-there....but i love it :] someday...i hope that people will be able to wear all different colors of lipstick without being looked at like a freak...i want this lipstick :) even though it's crazy...it works. Also, warm weather is finally here...and I just found something amazing not too long ago. They are now selling these metallic bandeau tops at victorias secret...and i love them. They don't add bulk underneath tight tops like regular cami's do, and the silver one goes with so much and adds a bit of glamour. Every girl should have one in her closet, it's a new staple item :]

mk, so i had to make a collage for art class...and i pretty much went all out and bought a canvas for it and everything because i'm going to hang it in my room when i get it back :). my collage is inspired by fashion, doe deere, and my future career as a designer :)

Inspiration

i believe that japanese fashion is absolute genius. i love visual kei and lolita, both styles are so dramatic and elegant. when i become a designer, i know i will be inspired by these styles...and i would love to go to japan and be inspired by them.

Another thing that inspires me is combining edgy with girly. i love poofy skirts mixed with chains leather and skulls, and i especially love big bows. someday, i want to make clothes with the perfect amount of yin and yang :)

what to talk about...

so this is my first post, and i'm pretty excited :) there's so many things about fashion and just life that i can talk about...but today i painted my nails what i like to call 'birthday cake icing blue', and i love it :) it's so fun and bright. but a couple of weeks ago my friend let me borrow her nail polish, and i immediately had to buy the same color after i used it. the color is called 'spit fire' and it's by pure ice nail polish. it literally goes with EVERYTHING, here's a picture of it :)

It has all different metallic sparkles throughout it, and you can wear it to school, a formal event, a concert, basically anywhere and it will look amazing :) thank you alexa :D


another thing that goes with anything is a pair of silver ballet flats. i bought some from target years ago, and wore them with jeans, skirts, and i even wore them to prom! haha...they had a cute little silver bow on top too, and they were shiny but not a patent shine, and had a pointed, but squared toe at the same time. i bought two pair, they were that amazing, ha...i miss them lol.
